My choice …The Carrera!!! Because.. It’s a Carrera!!!
hmm though hard decision. the 911 is the icon, but the Cayman is the better balanced car that gives up almost nothing to that 911, especially with a 3 year difference. How will you use the car? The Cayman is a better track car but for all around driving, I would still opt for the Carrera.
2012 Carrera. Superficially, because it’s a Carrera and not a Cayman.. Pecking order..
I’d opt for the Carrera. However, like anything, best to give both a drive and get a good PPI. However, I ultimately believe that a lot comes down to the intangibles and how it makes you feel. Either will be a fine choice.
In asking around…Both would be a good choice … Believe the intended use AND a really good PPI is needed .
The Carrera does have as stated more room and the “black” is cool .
Around town / shows / tours (and if family) would get my nod.
If a big more sport use ( track / auto/x ) the Cayman.
Call your insurance company…You might find a big difference there.
